Worship Ministry

While Jesus walked here on earth, He made use of everything that was around Him as teaching tools to save the lost, build up the disciples and His Kingdom.

At Lord of Life we too use what is around us -- internet, video, contemporary praise songs, drama, hymns, slides, and multimedia presentations.

The following verse helps us to focus on the motivation for being a great lead worshipper:  "Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are - face to face!  They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone.  And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete.  We're free of it!  All of us!  Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of His face.  And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like Him."  2 Corinthians 3:16-18

We believe that the Truth is not to be watered down by technology, but rather technology should allow us to further the Truth of the Gospel.  We believe that excellence attracts excellence and look forward to what God has in store for us.

Opportunities for music involvement extend beyond the praise team!   Throughout the year, we assemble a choir for all adults.   Men's Ensemble practices regularly from September through May.  All men (ages 14 and older) are welcome to join the ensemble, for a great time of fellowship and sharing of faith!
