Are you willing to be Intentionally Transformed
by God's power and grace?
The Bible is clear that God is at work in the lives of his people. Intentional Transformation is by no means a "self help" concept. It is simply our way of expressing a key biblical concept. The book of Romans puts it this way, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing, and perfect will."

At Lord of Life, ministries exist to experience God's instruction, His faithfulness, and His grace. A key component of your faith walk is to connect with other believers.
God wants to build your life on love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. He wants to build His character into your life. In the Bible, Jesus tells a story about a man who built a house on a rock and another who built his house on sand. When the storm came, the man's house that was built on a rock remained standing. The man's house that was built on the shifting sand crashed to the ground. This story is a parable about us. If we build our life on the truth of God, when life's challenges come (and they will), we can still have peace and joy because we know the truth which can't be shaken. Plus, it's important to have the support of other believers in those storms as well!

Our goal is to have our members understand God's view of the world and then be personally and corporately involved in mission endeavors to reach the lost and assist the poor in practical ways.
After Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin, and after he rose again from the dead which demonstrated he was God, he told his followers what they were called to be: "And you will be my witnesses to Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8) He told his followers, his friends, to start with their community and work your way out to the ends of the earth. It's the same thing he expects from us.
