Band of Brothers is a ministry for all men at Lord of Life. Learn the biblical definition of manhood and how God is calling us to lead in our homes, workplace and city. Learn how to mentor other men and bring them to Christ. Some of us are wounded warriors who need the help of other men to heal. Some of us have scars to show other men where we've been in life. God wants to use these scars to reach men. I invite you to join me in building this band of brothers. Proverbs 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Eight reasons why men need a "band of brothers":
1. Jesus never went it alone. He had a band of 12 brothers around him.
2. We are image bearers of God and are called to bear God's image to the
world.
3. Manhood is bestowed. A man learns biblical manhood from other men.
4. We need men to say to us, "You have what it takes."
5. We need men to help us champion our wife and our kids.
6. We need men to help us with our thought life.
7. We are wounded warriors who can learn from the scars of other men.
8. We are building blocks for the young men who follow in our footsteps.
